Skiibii Laments After Being Slammed With N2.4m Electricity Bill

Skiibii complains after receiving an N2.4 million electrical bill.
Nigerian singer, Skiibii recently garnered attention after posting a photo of his electricity bill on social media.
On social media, many celebrities have been known to post entertaining details about their daily life, and this musician used his profile to bemoan his electricity bill.
Skiibii uploaded a picture of the over N2.4 million bill he received from the power distribution company to his Instagram account.
As he said in the photo’s caption, the musician did not appear overly impressed by the sum:
“What type of playing is this”.
A look at the bill showed that he was charged N239k for energy used and over N2.1 million as Net arrears.

This won’t be the first time the singer would be slammed with an outrageous power bill. In April of this year, the singer took to social media to bemoan the situation of the nation most especially the electricity billing in the country.
The musician disclosed that his electricity bill for that month was N1.7 million.
He also bemoaned the recycling of political leaders, claiming that it would not move the country anywhere.
In his words he wrote;
“I don’t care if you stay on the island or mainland I swear na trenches all of us dey for this naija….suffering and smiling big time , just imagine what happened with the kadunatrain nothing will happen they will ignore as usual, if anything happen to anybody na saara..we no get government ooooo you better know now cos no light anywhere..no fuel to power generator… the last nepa bill I got is 1.7million Kai and guess what it’s looking like it will only get worse , this recycling of leaders is not taking us anywhere.”
