It would be recalled that Skepta’s latest single, “Jangrova,” has made an impressive debut at No. 28 on Turntable’s Nigeria Top 100 chart. The song features hip-hop artist Odumodublvck and British actor/rapper Idris Elba.
“Jangrova” is part of Skepta’s directorial debut for the film “Tribal Mark,” which premiered on January 26, 2024. The movie explores the poignant journey of a Nigerian immigrant adapting to life in a foreign country and incorporates elements of an undercover Black Secret Service. The cast includes emerging black actors, with Jude Carmichael playing the protagonist, Young Mark.
