Skepta Announces Return of Big Smoke Festival, Set for August 2025 at Crystal Palace Bowl
Skepta has officially announced the return of the “Big Smoke Festival,” set to take place on August 9th and 10th, 2025, at the Crystal Palace Bowl in London. Following the success of its inaugural edition in July 2024, this year’s festival promises an even more electrifying experience.
The “Big Smoke Festival” was created to honor the music Skepta grew up listening to—Grime—while also providing a platform for underground rappers.
The 2024 festival boasted a star-studded lineup, featuring performances from The Streets, JME, Mahalia, and Skepta himself in his only UK show of the year. The event was widely praised for its diverse musical offerings and vibrant atmosphere, setting a high bar for future editions.
The festival’s expanded lineup for 2025 will include established artists and emerging talents from a variety of genres. Fans are urged to register on the festival’s official website for updates, even though the complete lineup has not yet been revealed.
Tickets are now on sale, and given last year’s overwhelming response, they are expected to sell out quickly.
