Singer Qdot attacked by armed robbers at home, loses phones, laptops and bank funds

Nigerian singer Qdot has been left shaken after armed robbers stormed his residence in the early hours of Friday, carting away valuables and draining his bank accounts.
According to reports shared by X influencer Dami Adenuga, the incident occurred at about 2:30 a.m. when the attackers, wielding sophisticated weapons, broke into the artist’s home.
Qdot was allegedly held at gunpoint while the assailants seized his phones, laptops, and other personal effects.
Sources further disclosed that the criminals forced their way into his bank accounts, transferring all available funds before taking over his social media platforms.
This has sparked fears of possible impersonation or blackmail. Fans and the public have therefore been advised to ignore any suspicious messages, posts, or requests for money that may emanate from Qdot’s online accounts.
As of press time, the singer had not issued a personal statement, but close associates confirmed he is safe and currently surrounded by family and friends.
The incident has rekindled concerns over the safety of Nigerian entertainers, who are increasingly becoming targets of violent robberies. Just weeks ago, rapper Lil Kesh was similarly attacked at his Lekki home in Lagos.
Police are yet to release an official report on the matter, though residents of the community told Lens News that the operation was “swift and well-coordinated,” leaving the neighbourhood in shock.
