Being honoured with the title ‘Sweden’s Afropop Prince, Magikk has set out a goal to export the genre to that part of the world – to raise the scope of music in Sweden and influence their culture with the African sound.
“The goal is to build a bridge between Sweden and Afrobeat-loving countries,’ says Magiikk and he aims to ‘put Sweden on the Afrobeat music map.’ Aided by the help of his producer ‘P Banks,” he stated in an interview with ‘Kingsize Magazine’.
Launching his first track, Pull Up, the singer solos his theme on the ‘ladies’, gliding his vocals through a mid-tempo sound.
Then Privacy comes into play – another groovy vibe that’s self-explanatory. Just that this time, he creates a fast-tempo rhythm.
All seven tunes are an expression of his musical dexterity.
