Nigerian music star Candy Bleakz has found herself at the centre of a frightening ordeal in South Africa after she was violently attacked outside her residence.
The rising Afrobeats act explained that she had stepped out of her apartment to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee when the calm moment suddenly turned chaotic.
A video she later posted online shows her shaken, distressed, and tending to visible injuries.

According to Candy Bleakz, a group of unknown men approached her without warning, assaulted her, and fled with her gold jewelry, reportedly worth around N10 million.
She described the incident as shocking and overwhelming, noting that she was taken by surprise and had no chance to fight back.
The singer, celebrated for her bold sound, energetic performances, and growing influence in the industry, appeared to have sustained bruises during the attack. In the video, she calmly recounts the ordeal, revealing how quickly the situation escalated.
Her fans and colleagues have since flooded social media with messages of concern, urging authorities to prioritise the safety of Nigerian entertainers in South Africa, especially as reports of violence involving foreigners continue to rise.
