The gospel singer made the announcement of her new career record via her social media page.
Nigerian gospel singer and songwriter Osinachi Kalu Okoro Egbu, known professionally as Sinach, has set a new career record on the top US Billboard charts.
The singer has becomes the first African gospel singer to top the Billboard Christian Songwriter Chart in the United States of America.
Sinach has been topping the American charts, Billboard’s charts of Christian songwriters for seven weeks and did not even realize it.
She made the announcement of her new career fit via her social media page, expressing gratitude to God for another milestone in her career.

She wrote:
“It’s not a competition however, this shows that we are making impact with what God has assigned us to. When you impact people with the gift of God influencing them for Jesus that’s something to celebrate!!”
The singer also thanked her team, who worked tirelessly to ensure the song’s success, as well as her pastor, family, and fans for their love and support.

Sinach debuted on the charts in 2016 with her hit song ‘Way Maker,‘ which gained popularity after Elevation Worship and Christian Rock Band performed it in 2019.
