During an interview with TV personality Taymesan, Simisola Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, announced her plans to release a new album in 2024. However, following the release of “All I Want,” Simi faced online backlash from critics who labeled the song lazy and urged her to evolve as an artist.
In response to these criticisms, Simi displayed grace by creating a new TikTok dance for “All I Want,” captioning the video with “Stream my lazy track” as a playful nod to her detractors.
In addition to her chart success, Simi performed “All I Want” live for the first time during Adekunle Gold’s OVO concert in the UK, captivating fans with her melodic rendition. She also joined Adekunle Gold on stage to perform their collaborative track “Look What You Made Me Do,” delighting the audience with their musical chemistry.
