Nigerian artist Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, widely known as Simi, has excited fans by announcing the release of her upcoming album in 2024. The revelation came during a conversation with actor and TV personality Taymesan on the Tea with Tay podcast. Fans are eagerly looking forward to this new album, especially since her last release, “Simisola,” in 2017.

In the podcast interview, the talented singer delved into various aspects of her life, sharing insights into her music, marriage, and family. Simi highlighted her non-musical upbringing and revealed that her musical journey began at the age of eight, sparking her desire to pursue a career in music.

Simi also touched upon her educational experience at Covenant University, where she studied mass communication. Initially hesitant to discuss her time at the university, she eventually opened up about it, commending the institution for its positive impact on her life while expressing disagreement with some of its doctrines.

The artist’s early career involved singing gospel songs, with “Ara Ile” being one of her notable tracks. However, the turning point came with the release of “Tiff.” Collaborations with Falz on “Jamb Question” and other successful features like “Chemistry,” “Foreign,” and “Soldier” further solidified her position in the music industry. Fans are eagerly anticipating the upcoming album as Simi continues to captivate audiences with her unique musical style and storytelling.
