Simi has uploaded a video of her husband, Adekunle Gold, Facetiming her while he was out with J. Cole, an American rapper.
Simi has always referred to J. Cole as one of her favourite musicians, and her joy was obvious in the video of her receiving a Facetime call from Adekunle Gold. On Tuesday, October 26th, 2021, she posted the video to her Instagram account.
J. Cole is a well-known American rapper with a lengthy discography and a worldwide fan base. When he came to Nigeria for a concert in 2018, he was taken aback by how many people knew his songs by heart.

They were even rapping along to his album, KOD, which he had just released at the time.
Simi is one of J. Cole’s many admirers in Nigeria, and a devoted one at that, as evidenced by her visibly thrilled reaction to Adekunle Gold calling her on Facetime in the video.
Adekunle Gold was fortunate enough to meet American rapper J.Cole at a pub, as seen in the video.
He understands how much of a fangirl his wonderful wife is, so he decided to meet her celebrity crush via Facetime. Simi almost fainted out when she saw the rapper as she picked up the phone.
She was silent for the first ten seconds and couldn’t communicate like a typical ‘fan.’ The “Duduke” crooner complimented herself on being coherent for roughly 12% of their chat when she shared the video.
She also thanked her sweetheart for the gift and expressed her hope that she had finally persuaded us that “AG baby is her baby.”
The singer captioned the video on her Instagram page:
“I almost passed out ???? I’m still giddy. If you know you know. @realcoleworld the only person I’ll probably ever fangirl for????. I was coherent for about 12% of the conversation and for that I congratulate myself. And this is how you know AG Baby is my Baby.”
