Nigeria Singer, Simi recently released the music video to “There For You” and shared with fans a fun fact of the song came to be.
According to Simi via a tweet she posted, the hook for the song was actually written for another song she did with Mr Eazi.
However, she didn’t like the hook and decided to write another one. When she was working on Restless, she revisited the hook and tried it on another beat which worked perfectly fine to her.
“There For Me” features British Rapper, Ms Banks and is off Simi’s recently released “Restless II” EP.

The song is produced by her longtime partner, Oscar.
