Simi responds to Brymo, Samklef’s flirtatious remarks about her
Nigerian songstress Simi has addressed recent flirtatious comments from her colleagues Brymo and producer Samklef, dismissing them as comedic.
The saga began when Brymo stirred controversy last year by suggesting a sexual encounter with Simi for a music collaboration. Simi stated she declined his proposition, leading to Brymo’s refusal to collaborate.
Similarly, Samklef admitted his affection for Simi during their struggling artist days but avoided advances to separate business from pleasure.
In a recent interview on Angela Yee’s show Way Up on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, Simi expressed bewilderment over Brymo and Samklef’s comments. Dismissing their remarks, she questioned their relevance and why they continued discussing her in such a manner.
Simi clarified that her husband addresses any concerns on her behalf, emphasizing that Brymo and Samklef’s opinions don’t affect her. She viewed the situation as more comedic than serious, showcasing her indifference.
With her candid response, Simi has put to rest any speculation surrounding Brymo and Samklef’s remarks, focusing on her music career and personal life without allowing external distractions to sway her.

In other news, During an interview on Way Up With Angela Yee, Simi addressed the controversy surrounding the title of the collaboration.
She revealed that she had initially opted not to explain the reason behind the title, ‘Men Are Crazy,’ following the negative reactions it garnered from some male observers online.
Simi explained that she preferred to let the song speak for itself upon its release, believing that it would provide a clearer understanding of the title’s significance.
“I honestly wasn’t going to go on an explaining spree at the time. I was like when the song comes out they will see what I’m trying to say,” Simi shared.
