Simi fires back at Tweep who accused her husband Adekunle Gold of copying Burna Boy.
Nigerian singer, Simi has come to the defense of her husband, Adekunle Gold also known as AG Baby after a Twitter user claimed that the Afropop singer was copying Burna Boy.
The drama started after New Zealand-based Nigerian professional mixed martial artist and kickboxer, Israel Adesanya also known as Style Bender posted a picture of him, Adekunle Gold, Kamaru Usman and others celebrating his recent win against Alexa Pereira.

However, a Burna Boy fan quoted the tweet criticising Adekunle Gold for allegedly copying his fave’s style.
According to the tweep who goes by the username, @benny7gg the plagiarism of Burna Boy’s style by Adekunle was obvious even in the dress, posture and smile.
In his words;
the Burna Boy plagiarism is really so obvious and very annoying at this point. man can’t you just be yourself? same posture, same glasses, same smile. wtf ?! it’s been going on for awhile now and we need to speak on it.
While Adekunle Gold has yet to react to the accusation, his wife, Simi who came across the controversial tweet came to his defence and fired back at the tweep.
According to her, the only reason why the tweet will tweet something like that about her husband was that he didn’t really have anything good going on in his life.
In another tweet, she stated that it’s only sad people who make awful posts about people minding their own business and she feels sorry for them.
People that have good things going on in their lives really never do shit like this.
And that’s facts for everyone. When you come on the internet talking nonsense about anyone minding their damn business, your life is most likely sad and you’re distracting yourself. So it’s you I’m sorry for.
