Nigerian singer Simi has responded angrily to a Twitter user who chastised her for complaining about division after Wizkid’s Grammy defeat but ignoring Davido and Yemi Alade.
Davido and Yemi Alade both put Nigeria on the map in their own ways, despite the fact that one did not win a Grammy.
Wizkid lost both nominations to another African hit so hard that most people have been talking about it because he deserves it.

Simi reacting to that asked why some Nigerians are behaving like they are representing 2 different Nigeria asking what is wrong with them.
The tweep who responded chastised her for not celebrating Yemi Alade or Davido, but was quick to point out the divide when Wizkid lost.
In response, Simi corrected the tweep, stating she did what she’s been accused of on Instagram before opening Twitter, and even if she didn’t, it’s her account and she can do whatever she wants with it because some people waste way too much energy on things like this.
