Nigerian Singer, Simi has revealed why saying the word “Sung” during a conversation makes her feel embarrassed.
The singer in a tweet on Tuesday the 14th of June revealed that she doesn’t like to use the word “Sung” when talking to people.
According to her, she knows it is correct but the word makes her feel like an ‘I Too Know’ (ITK).
Despite her reservation about using the word, the singer stated that she will preferably be embarrassed than use incorrect tenses like ‘that’s how it was sang‘.
In his words;
“I’m always so embarrassed to use words like “sung”. It’s correct, yet you sound like an ITK. But I’d rather be embarrassed than say “that’s how it was sang”.”
