Nigerian Songwriter, Simi has a message for those who seem to believe whatever they see on the internet.
The Nigerian singer and songwriter Simisola Ogunleye also known as Simi posted on her Instagram page saying there are some people who genuinely believe everything they see on the internet either is true or not.
Simi, in order to support her point, cooked up a nice tale that would sell well on the internet, claiming that she observed a Hispanic man creating a disturbance in a store the other day because the cashier refused to marry him.

According to her, the man called someone on the phone and 5 minutes later 2 guys came to the store with guns to carry the lady away and while they were all begging, they pointed the gun at the customers to shut up and they left with the lady before the police came.
In another post, Simi revealed that the tale she told was completely false, demonstrating that all it takes is a good storyteller searching for attention or likes to have things floating on social media as if they were true.
The “Duduke” crooner went on to say that when it comes to topics that spread on the internet, people should use their heads and not allow others to use them for them because not everything you see or hear on the internet is genuine or even near to the truth.
