Nigerian songstress, Simi took to Twitter to advise people in a relationship on staying committed.
Simi wrote that people will judge a person based on how the person sees himself. She wrote,
“I’ve learned that at the end of it, people see you through your own eyes. When you put yourself, unapologetically, on a pedestal – even if they hate it, they acknowledge it. So love yourself every day.”
On the issue of commitment, the “Duduke” singer wrote,
“One more thing – remember that loving someone is choosing them every day. It won’t always be easy, cos people are flawed – you and them. So when you find someone that is worth it (don’t lie to yourself) – You keep choosing them. That conscious act is the beauty of commitment.”

And when you choose someone, they don't have to wonder if you're worth loving. Cos loving someone is allowing yourself to be vulnerable, it puts you at the mercy of another person's whims. So be somebody worth loving – or leave people alone.

And…your worth is not dependent on the people you love. You're worth it just because you are. Not because someone that means everything to you says you are. I say this because people's minds are unpredictable – your value, however, remains constant. As constant as you allow it.
