Simisola Kosoko, better known by her stage name Simi, has counselled upcoming artists on the importance of marketing oneself.
Simi is dishing out advice to Upcoming artists on how to market and brand themselves especially on their social media accounts.
This was stated by the singer when commenting on the social media pages of upcoming musicians.
She had previously requested to hear new and ‘fresh sounding’ artists who were yet to attain recognition.
Simi wrote on her Instagram story on Thursday,
“Y’all, if you know any fresh-sounding artistes that are still underground, show me. I want to feed my ears.”
On Friday, the mother-of-one took to her Instagram story to express her disapproval of some upcoming artists’ social media accounts given what she saw.
She also encouraged them to do better and to leave the mysterious sh*t for when they are popular.

She wrote;
“You are a ‘serious’ growing artist and you have only three posts on your page; a picture of the sunset, one of aeroplane, and one of your shoe.
“Caption – Lost, but don’t find me. Nothing with your music in it. That’s not a great look. If you want it bad, always be selling yourself.
“Leave the mysterious sh*t for when you’ve won! Even then, still leave it.”
