Show Dem Camp announces new album with The Cavemen and Nsikak
Nigerian rap duo Show Dem Camp (SDC) has announced the release date for a new joint project with Nsikak and The Cavemen.
The album, titled “No Love in Lagos,” is set to be released on August 9, 2024. It features a collaboration between SDC, The Cavemen, and singer-songwriter Nsikak David, with production by Spax.
SDC made the announcement on their social media channels, stating, “‘NO LOVE IN LAGOS’ The Album. @showdemcamp x @StayCavy x @iamnsikak_ Prod by @spaxclassic Out Aug 9th!!!” This marks the first full-length project collaboration between SDC, The Cavemen, and Nsikak David.
Show Dem Camp, composed of Wale Davies (Tec) and Olumide Ayeni (Ghost), are leading figures in the Nigerian alternative/Alté music scene.
They have released a string of successful projects, including their Clone Wars and Palmwine Music series, and have collaborated with artists such as Tems, BOJ, and Ladipoe.
The Cavemen are a fast-rising Afrobeats duo known for their unique blend of highlife and alternative sounds. Nsikak David is an acclaimed guitarist, music producer, and singer-songwriter who has worked with various artists in the Nigerian music industry.
The album’s production is handled by Spax, known for his work on acclaimed projects like Oxlade’s Oxygene EP. Fans can expect a captivating collaborative effort from these talented artists.
