Recall it wasn’t too long before the producer celebrated his release from an archaic contract that had him in bondage for six years with Sony.
Shizzi had earlier taken to the social media platform, Instagram to call out his manager Efe Omoregbe over the publishing contract dispute with Sony Music.
According to Shizzi, he has been stuck in the ‘worst’ Sony Music deal for six years because of his manager.
It seems the social media call-out worked because days later he took to Instagram to celebrate the end of the contract writing;
“I am extremely blessed and thankful that I’ve achieved my goal and I’m moving on to the next stage in my career. I’m happy to announce that my contract has officially ENDED!!! ????
It’s been a long time coming. I’ve gone through a lot to get to this point. I want to thank Sony Music Publishing for their integrity throughout this process. I want to thank my team for representing me over the years in the best possible way through this whole journey. I couldn’t do this without my family, my wife! & I want to thank everyone else for their support and well wishes.
Never stop believing in the true value of yourself & don’t ever let ANYONE take charge of your destiny, It’s God given and I’m just getting started ????????❤️”
