    Award-winning Ghanaian artist Shatta Wale has spoken candidly about how Asake has achieved greater success than any other musicians who represent Ghanaian music.

    In a recent space hosted on X, formerly Twitter, Shatta Wale addressed the obvious connection brought up by the host of the space between artists from Ghana and the Nigerian sensation Asake.

    Shatta said that the YBNL signee is bigger than all the Gold Coast artists and that Ghanaian artists, including himself, shouldn’t be compared to him.

    In addition, he said that while he is considered to be Ghana’s richest artist, Asake from Nigeria’s achievements cannot be matched to his.

    This comes days after Shatta took to his social media platform to congratulate Asake for his successful O2 Arena concert, where he also acknowledged how far Nigerian music and artists have gone.

    He posted, “Nigerians are making Ghana music look like feeding bottle compared to Hennessey bottle. Congrats to Asake meeenn!!! You guys deh run tooo fast …F^ck! PS: Some Ghana man say how do they do it .. Me: when you stop judging people here like you are angels, I think we can get the formula. Naija is winning BIG TIME !!! My people.”
