Shatta Wale narrates how Sark took GHc120K after they discussed $150K in Glo deal.
Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale has explained that the Glo mega-concert agreement that took place on October 25, 2018, is the main reason he keeps criticizing Sarkodie.
Shatta Wale revealed that he and Serwaa Amihere had agreed to demand $150,000 for the Glo deal while speaking on a Twitter platform. Sarkodie ultimately decided to accept GHC120,000 from Glo, which is around $20,000 less.
To make matters worse, instead of paying Shatta Wale the $150,000 they had originally agreed upon, the organizers decided he wasn’t worth the money he was asking for and instead gave him $131,000 instead.
When they were given less money, Shatta Wale thought they should skip the show, but Sarkodie didn’t agree. Sarkodie performed at the event instead, keeping the $130,000.
Shatta Wale was upset by the situation and vented his annoyance on Twitter, which ultimately caused their friendship to break up.
