Ghanaian dancehall artist Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., widely known as Shatta Wale, has opened up about his biggest regret in life, expressing that not pursuing a career as a lawyer is his greatest regret.
Despite being a successful, multi-award-winning musician, Shatta Wale shared in a recent interview with BBC’s Stefania Okereke that he doesn’t feel entirely fulfilled. He revealed, “My biggest regret in life is that I didn’t become a lawyer.”
Shatta Wale mentioned that he is still considering the possibility of becoming a lawyer in the future, stating, “when I make enough money. I know I’m a successful musician, but I wanted to be a lawyer.”
In addition, he referred to himself as a “nice guy,” although he acknowledged that many people might not perceive him that way. Shatta Wale’s candid admission offers insight into his aspirations and career aspirations beyond his thriving music career.
