It seems the rantings from dancehall artiste Shatta Wale appear to be going nowhere anytime soon, as he claims he is only interested in making money, not winning awards.
Shatta Wale has criticized individuals who criticize him for fighting Nigerian artists and others who are focused on winning awards .
Many people have criticized him for battling internationally renowned artists who have won international awards.
Shatta Wale claims that he is not concerned with receiving medals or honours, but rather in producing money.
In a tweet sighted on his page, he wrote,
“looking for money you say wood and metal Awards …. ???????????? Am a different✨ Sorry ….ego enter u well well”.
In another post sighted on Shatta Wale’s page, he was seen mocking those trying to advise him over his rantings on the internet.

According to him, those advising him think they are using their time wisely. He says they should rather concentrate on their hot phones because he wasn’t interested in their advice.
“Because of the internet you think you are advising me …Oga na ur phone go hot ooo..not me …am in my pool swimming and typing …????????????????????????????????”.
He also sent a message to the Nigerian media, writing;
“Anyway thanx to all Nigerians for this media tour ..it was worth it. Your comments are overwhelming ..I love you guys but try and host one ghana artiste in nigeria ..count me out cuz u can’t pay me …
