Top Ghanaian dancehall recording and performing artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, better known by his stage name, Shatta Wale has made a claim about the Accra sports stadium for a musical concert.
Shatta Wale has made it known that no artist in Ghana can fill the Accra sports stadium for a musical show.
A few hours after Wizkid’s performance at the sports stadium bombed and infuriated the crowd, a video of Shatta Wale went viral.
There have been various allegations that Wizkid avoided the “Wizkid Live concert” because of poor attendance.

The artist, however, has refuted the reports, explaining the genuine cause of his inability to make it to the stadium.
In the midst of the uproar, a video of Shatta Wale saying that no artist in Ghana could fill the Accra Sports stadium surfaced; his response suggested that Wizkid may have done so.
He added: “Unless it’s a political rally, if it’s not NPP or NDC or maybe Pastor Mensah Otabil or Pastor Chris, I am telling you people something, write it down, or Duncan Williams, or Bishop Agyin Asare, or maybe it’s Kotoko and Hearts, we have never had a show like that at the stadium where you can see that the place is filled up for one artiste.”
