The Ghanaian star Shatta Wale was forced to apologize to the IGP, Dr George Akuffo Dampare, on Wednesday morning for disturbing an ongoing meeting with creative sector leaders.

Recall, Mp3bullet.ng reported that The IGP, Dr George Akuffo Dampare, called for a meeting with the creative arts industry to engage them on how they can collaborate to work together.

The singer has aggressively interrupted the meeting as soon as he and Stonebwoy arrived into the auditorium.

After yelling at the police chief over the seizure of his phone, the ‘Melissa‘ singer was taken out of the meeting by some cops.

It is unknown what might have triggered his action, but according to Joy Entertainment’s Ibrahim Ben-Bako, Shatta Wale was heard shouting,

“what do you mean?”, “you think I can’t take my phone?”

According to the reporter, it took the intervention of musician A Plus, Bulldog, and others who called for calm heads.

They pleaded on Shatta Wale’s behalf to COP Nathan Kofi Boakye not to escalate the matter and he also later apologized indirectly to the IGP.
