Shallipopi hits 100 million streams on Boomplay
With more than 100 million streams, Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi, enters the golden club on Boomplay.
Along with Burna Boy, Olamide, Fireboy DML, Joeboy, Ckay, and other Nigerian musicians, Shallipopi is the latest to join the elite group of musicians on Boomplay.

Shallipopi established himself in 2021 when he released the song “Gra Gra,” which quickly went viral on several music and social media websites.
But the year 2023 saw his ascension take off when he released his hit song “Elon Musk.” His song became an instant hit, launching him into the public eye and paving the way for a string of success that followed. Songs such as “Sharpiru”
Shallipopi, driven to outdo himself, teamed up with Fireboy DML and Zlatan to release the follow-up to “Elon Musk.” This calculated action increased his fan base and brought him his first number-one hit, the popular song “Ex-Convict.”
Another significant step in his incredible journey was reached when his debut EP, “Planet Pluto,” debuted in July 2023 and shot to the coveted number-one spot on the charts. His laurels also include live performances, where he has played compelling shows at famous locations including the o2 Arena and the o2 Indigo.
