Seyi addresses claims of similar style with Asake.
Nigerian singer, Seyi Vibez has taken to social media to address claims that his style is similar to his colleague, Asake.
In recent weeks, both artistes have been releasing tracks that receive massive airplay in the country, but one thing that got fans talking is the similarity in tune and melody.
Seyi, who appears to be sick of the similarity, insisted that Fela Anikulapo Kuti, the late Afrobeats superstar, is the only artist whose style he has taken influence from.
The “Billion Dollar Baby” singer claimed that none of the afrobeats artists of the current generation were the source of his sound.

Meanwhile, Seyi recently released a 2:0 version of his debut studio album, ‘Billion Dollay Baby’ – adding five tracks to the 11-track body of work.
