Seun Kuti, son of Nigerian music legend, Fela Kuti will be performing at the 2019 Grammy Awards. This is a big deal for the Nigerian Music industry.
The Afrobeat singer has been listed to perform with his band ‘Egypt 80’ at the 61st Grammy Awards ceremony slated for February 10 at the Staples Centre, Los Angeles, U. S. A.
The ‘Black Times’ singer who alongside his brother, Femi Anikulapo Kuti has taken after their father’s musical style, will perform with Malian singer/ songwriter, Fatoumata Diawara, at the award’s Premiere Ceremony
Seun, just like Femi has also had his share of international recognition.
His “Black Times” album was nominated for Best World Music Album in October 2018.
