    Popular Nigerian singer Seun Kuti has taken to his social media page to slam Electricity Distribution Company Bosses and Rich Nigerians over electricity tariff increase.

    The singer who seems unhappy with the development condemn people who clamour for a capitalist economy.

    Slamming rich Nigerians for agreeing to pay a premium rate to have access to light while other Nigerians does not have light, Seun Kuti warned the rich men that the poor will soon revolt and destroy the things that make they rich.

    Calling for an investigation into the process of privatizing the electricity system, Seun Kuti wrote:

    Electricity tariff hike. Complete response! Pure nonsense. Little mistake in the video. The Entire infrastructure was valued then at 9bn dollars. Then renovated with 3 billion dollars and sold to these people for less than 3bn dollars. WHO BE FOOL? #getthesax
