Selena Gomez has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
On Wednesday, Selena Gomez revealed that she has tested positive for COVID-19.
The singer uploaded a picture of herself laying on a couch along with the announcement on her Instagram story.
Before receiving a positive test result, she said she had an appointment this week for a booster dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Due to her diagnosis, Gomez postponed her performance on Jimmy Fallon’s “Tonight Show” on Wednesday night.
“I’m not going to be on Fallon tonight. I ended up getting covid but I’m resting and feeling okay,” the 30-year-old wrote.
She stated that her diagnosis was a “friendly reminder” that COVID-19 was still “out there.”
Gomez further advised her fans to get their COVID-19 vaccines and boosters.
The singer added, “A friendly reminder that covid is still out there. Get updated on your boosters. I was actually scheduled to get mine this week. Love you all.”
