Segun Johnson expresses amazement after receiving a credit alert from Naira Marley.
Nigerian musician, Segun Johnson, has recounted how surprised he was to receive money from musician Naira Marley.
He recently performed as a guest artiste at a party that Marley attended and thrilled the Marlian Music founder.
In a social media video that quickly gained popularity, the “Owambe MC” was seen dancing while praising the “Tesumole” crooner’s praises.
Naira Marley was forced to stand up and start dancing after Segun continued to lavish him with compliments.
As the situation developed, the street performer asked the rapper to send money to him by bank transfer if he could not do it immediately.

Nevertheless, a snapshot of a blurred bank transaction in the same clip revealed that he had gotten some cash.
Johnson said he was grateful for the alert even though he wasn’t anticipating the present.
He said; “Aside from Naira Marley, there were so many celebrities at the event. I just entertained as usual. My style is centred on crowd engagement. The performance led me to hyping Naira Marley and I was not expecting him to transfer any money to me.
However, I noticed him telling his younger brother to do a transfer as we were performing. At that point, I knew my bank account would ‘smile’ the next day.”
