Sarkodie Explains Why Jamz and No Pressure Album Disappeared From Streaming Platforms

Fans of Ghanaian rap icon Sarkodie were left puzzled in recent days after noticing that two of his albums, Jamz and No Pressure, had suddenly vanished from major digital streaming platforms.
The disappearance sparked widespread speculation online, with some suggesting that the rapper might have sold his catalogue. However, Sarkodie has now addressed the issue, assuring fans that the albums will soon be back online.
Speaking during an Instagram Live session on September 1, 2025, Sarkodie revealed that the albums were taken down due to a technical hiccup during a distribution switch.
“So what is happening is we are doing a re-upload with a new distribution channel. We have a new partnership… but it was supposed to be very smooth, and that couldn’t happen.
So now we took it down, and we have to re-upload. I’m really pushing the team to get it back on. Don’t worry guys,” he explained.
The rapper clarified further that the removal was entirely linked to a transition between distribution partners, stressing that the process “did not go as smoothly as expected.”
Despite the temporary setback, Sarkodie reassured fans that both albums will soon return to streaming platforms, urging supporters to remain patient as his team finalizes the re-upload.
