Sarkodie Spotted In Studio With American Rapper Ludacris
Ludacris and Sarkodie recently reunited after 11 years had passed since their last meeting, and judging by the appearance of a video posted online, fans can expect a musical treat.
On March 20, a few quick videos and images of the pair together started circulating on Twitter.
The 37-year-old Ghanaian rapper and Ludacris can be seen shaking their heads while they listen to what appears to be music coming from a speaker in one of the silent movies.
Luda looked to have a flash of inspiration at one point and picked up his phone to scribble down several bars.
In the video, Ludacris can be seen listening to Sarkodie’s song “Country Side,” which features Black Sherif and has received one million views on YouTube.
As part of the Afrobeats record he is now working on, Ludacris is currently in Ghana collaborating with a variety of producers and musicians.

In a social media video, the American hip-hop musician can be seen enjoying a plate of Jollof rice, a local speciality, in an apartment.
In another video that has been circulating on social media, Ludacris was seen in an apartment with Sarkodie, who welcomed him to Accra.
“Guess who linked up after 11 years @ludacris,” he captioned the video shared on his Instagram stories on March 20.
The two rappers were afterwards seen recording their verses for what is anticipated to be a masterpiece.
“Eleven years later. Thank God, we still here. Ludacris, ‘one of the world’s greatest,’” Sarkodie captioned his Instagram post.
It is possible that Luda was in Accra, Ghana to record a remix to “Country Side,” and the track, as seen above, would be ideal for Luda and Sarkodie’s dextrous flows.
The American rapper is reportedly working on an album that will include producers and artists from Africa.
Sarkodie and Luda are no strangers to one other, having rocked on Luda’s “How Low” track during a live performance in 2012.
The rapper released the song to the public in September of that year, when he headlined Vodafone’s 020 Live Concert in Ghana.
