Sancho Nears Manchester United Exit as €10M Salary Deal with Fenerbahce Emerges

Jadon Sancho is edging closer to a move away from Manchester United, with reports indicating that the English winger has agreed personal terms with Fenerbahce ahead of a potential transfer.
According to Turkish outlet Sabah, the 24-year-old has reached a salary agreement worth approximately €10 million (£8.5m) per year with the Istanbul-based club, currently managed by Jose Mourinho.
The report also claims that “serious progress” has been made in negotiations between Sancho’s camp and Fenerbahce as both parties work toward finalizing the deal.
Fenerbahce are expected to table a formal offer in the region of €18 million (£15m) to Manchester United, as per Italian journalist Orazio Accomando. While clubs from Serie A have also shown interest in the former Borussia Dortmund star, they are reportedly unable to match the lucrative wage package being proposed by the Turkish giants.
If the deal is completed, Sancho would follow in the footsteps of several Premier League names who have recently joined Fenerbahce. Fred and Sofyan Amrabat, both former United players, have made the move in the past, alongside notable signings like Dusan Tadic, Edin Dzeko, Caglar Söyüncü, and Allan Saint-Maximin.
Meanwhile, Manchester United remain active in the transfer market. With Ruben Amorim expected to return with his squad for pre-season training on July 7, the club is looking to trim its squad and secure key additions. The Red Devils have already signed Matheus Cunha and are reportedly pursuing Bryan Mbeumo as they prepare for the upcoming campaign.
Sancho, who was sidelined for much of last season due to a falling out with former manager Erik ten Hag, appears set for a fresh start abroad as United look to offload surplus talent and rebuild under new direction.
