The nigerian producers continues to blast Seun Kuti in scathing online posts
Nigerian music producer Samklef has ignited a heated controversy online after launching a series of scathing attacks on Afrobeats singer Seun Kuti. The drama began when Seun Kuti posted on Instagram, asserting that he only responds to artists with Grammy nominations, which Samklef perceived as a personal insult.
In a series of posts, Samklef accused Seun Kuti of relying on his father’s legacy, the legendary Fela Kuti, and challenged his fans to name one hit song by Seun.
He even offered a N500,000 reward to anyone who could do so. Samklef further sparked outrage by stating that Seun’s Grammy nomination is not equivalent to winning the award, and claiming that Seun’s older brother, Femi Kuti, is the only true son of Fela Kuti.
Additionally, Sam brought up a past incident where Seun was involved in a physical altercation with a policeman, suggesting that Seun should be in jail instead of the cross-dresser Bobrisky.
These posts have generated significant attention and debate online, with many fans and fellow artists weighing in on the issue.

Recall, Samklef claimed that Seun Kuti has failed to earn genuine fan support and resorts to attacking other artists out of frustration.
He compared Seun to his iconic father, suggesting that Seun has not built his own legacy but instead continues to live off his father’s achievements.
Samklef noted that Fela Kuti, whose father was a clergyman, established his own reputation without relying on his father’s influence.
In a scathing remark, Samklef called Seun a fool and vowed to continue his criticism until Seun stops targeting other artists. He even mocked Seun’s collaboration with Bob Marley’s son, calling it “Afronoise” in contrast to Fela’s pioneering Afrobeat.
