Runtown joins Wizkid in cancelling his show in Ghana
Runtown has stated that he will not be taking the stage at the Sound God festival that is slated to take place in Accra today.
In a message he published on Twitter on Thursday afternoon, he stated that unanticipated circumstances outside of his control were the reason for his inability to perform.
He stated that he is currently trying to obtain alternative dates and will confirm them whenever the time is appropriate.
“To my people out in Accra, due to unforeseen circumstances out of my control I am not able to perform this evening @Soundgodfest and I wanted you to know as early as possible.
“I am currently working on securing new dates and will be confirming in due course.” You’ll be hearing from me soon, stay safe.”

Meanwhile, Runtown’s latest album ‘Signs‘ has achieved a feat on the album’s chart as it has surpassed Seyi Vibez’ ‘Billion Dollar Baby 2.0’ and Wizkid’s ‘More Love Less Ego.’
This is significant for the singer who was greatly missed in the industry but who was still loved by many. This might be seen or verified by looking at the charts, where the album that was released on December 16th, 2022, has since peaked at number one.
