After two years of sustaining one of Nigeria’s rising act Rema, D’Prince of Jonzing World unveiled his second artiste, Ruger.
On the 18th of January,2021, D’Prince unveiled his new Afrobeat second artiste in two years. His name is Ruger.
Ruger is the second artiste on the label after Rema who was introduced in March 2019.
Now, some may wonder what will become of him in the industry considering its very competitive state.
On the other hand, some people have worried that his label mate Rema would be a hindrance to his success.
Well, there’s a saying “The sky is big enough to accommodate every single star”.
As a matter of fact, Ruger has all it takes to soar high and wide, with the guidance of his Jonzing World management.

Taking a look at his unveiling track “One Shirt“, ft. his boss D’Prince and label mate Rema, you would agree with me that his unique chorus is a stand-out.
While others displayed their artistic prowess, you would agree to the fact that no one outshined anyone.
Rather, it was a display of young talents, showing their music skills and their passion to succeed in their ever-evolving music industry.
Equally important, his latest track Ruger is a show of his pure ruggedness, and being his first single without feature, no doubt he has his spot crafted for him in the industry.
Without mincing words, Ruger is an artiste with a bright future in the industry.
However, we have seen artistes with full potentials run down due to one thing or the other. Such artistes include Jesse Jagz, Cynthia Morgan, Sugarboy, etc.
For the case of Ruger, we believe he is another new Afrobeat artiste on the music block set to change the game!
