Nigerian Afrobeat singer and songwriter Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has revealed how D Prince helped him and sponsored his first recording session.
The singer made this known in a guest appearance on Clout Africa’s Clout Talk, which was hosted by comedian Broda Shaggi.
Since the majority of his recordings on his Instagram profile were just freestyles, a fan enquired as to whether he had ever recorded tunes before being noticed by the head of Jonzing Records.

Ruger asserted that due to a lack of funding, he had never had any songs produced before being signed to Jonzing World.
According to the “Bounce” crooner, he was employed at Computer Village at the time and just scraping by.
