I don’t like it when I meet a girl and her nails aren’t done – Ruger
Nigerian singer Ruger recently shared a personal preference during an appearance on Kiss Fresh FM, hosted by media personality Henrie. When asked about his likes and dislikes, Ruger confessed that he has a strong aversion to meeting women whose nails are not done.
“I don’t like it when I meet a girl for the first time and her nails are not done. You have to have your nails done; I just don’t like it when they’re not done,” Ruger said.
Henrie, amused, inquired whether Ruger preferred a particular nail length or color. Ruger pointed to a woman in the studio with short, almond-shaped nails and explained that he prefers this style. “I don’t like the long ones; see that one there; I like that one. The short nails look real, like the real nails, and they are beautiful.”
When Henrie asked if Ruger disliked bare nails, he revealed that he often sends money to women to have their nails done if they aren’t. His candid remarks have sparked a variety of reactions on social media.
One Instagram user resonated with Ruger’s sentiment, saying, “To be fair, I hate when my nails aren’t done, and it’s nothing on anyone else! Me personally, even if I have to put one coat of regular nail polish on. Bare nails are not for me.”
