    Nigerian Afrobeat and dancehall artist Ruger, whose real name is Michael Adebayo Olayinka, has officially announced the release date and title of his highly anticipated debut album. The album, titled “RU THE WORLD,” is set to be released on Friday, September 1, 2023.

    Ruger has gained significant recognition for his unique blend of Afrobeat, dancehall, and R&B influences. He initially garnered attention with his debut track “Ruger” and further solidified his presence in the music scene with the EP “Pandemic.”

    “RU THE WORLD” will consist of 17 tracks, promising listeners a diverse and captivating musical journey. Ruger has also collaborated with notable artists such as Stefflon Don, Projexx, Sauti Sol, Govana, and Jugglerz, adding even more excitement to the upcoming album.
