Nigerian Singer, Ruger is celebrating the one-year anniversary of being in the Industry.
Ruger came to the limelight in 2021 after Jonzing Records, the sister label of Mavin records officially introduced him to the Industry.
Immediately he dropped “One Trouser” which featured label mate, Rema and his boss, D Prince.
However, he gained attention after dropping his debut EP, “Pandemic” which housed hits like “Bounce”, “Abu Dhabi”, ‘Ruger” among others.
“Bounce” mostly especially was a chart-topping record that has earned over 22 Million Views on Youtube.
In the second half of the year, he dropped his second EP, “The Second Wave” which produced hits like ‘Snapchat” and “Dior“.
As a result of his increasing popularity, the singer alongside Ayra Starr made it to Vogue UK’s Emerging artists in the 2022 list.

Ruger took to Instagram to celebrate his successful one year in the industry. In the post, he celebrated God and his boss, D Prince who he promised to represent everywhere.
He wrote;
“RU NATION!!! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!. A year ago, we came into limelight and we have DISTURBED A LOT ????????????. I’m taking the whole of this day to appreciate the most high God and the only Man he used to bring all my dreams to reality @dprincemavin .Not everyone knows your worth @dprincemavin but I do and I promise to represent you anywhere for life ????✊????.
