Ruger and Ayra Starr featured on Vogue UK’s Emerging Artists List for 2022.

The Mavin Label artists have been featured on Vogue UK’s new list of up-and-coming musicians set to conquer the music scene in 2022.
Nigerian artists Ayra Starr and Ruger are among the new Emerging Artists poised to govern 2022, according to Vogue UK.
On Monday, January 17th, 2022, the new list was released.
Ayra Starr is signed to the Mavin Records label, while Ruger is signed to its sister label, Jonzing World.
Adding Ruger to their new list, Vogue UK wrote on their website;
“In just one year, Ruger has had a seismic impact with his single “Bounce”, which amassed 22 million views and topped the Nigeria charts on Apple Music. With unforgettable songs and his unique look – pink cropped hair and an eye patch – he’ll soon be impossible to miss.”

In addition to Ruger, Ayra Starr was also listed on Vogue UK’s rising artists list for 2022. The website reads;
“Nineteen-year-old Ayra Starr started exceptionally strong last year, releasing debut projects that were flawlessly conceived and beautifully sung.”
The “Bloody Samaritan” crooner released a self-titled EP on her Mavin unveiling last year and went ahead to drop a debut album in the same year.
The singer also entered into Shazam’s 2022 predictions playlist with her 2021 hit single, ‘Bloody Samaritan‘.
