Watch Ruger Dish Out Advice To Upcoming Artists
Michael Adebayo Olayinka, better known by his stage name Ruger, has given advice to upcoming artists who want to be successful in the industry.
According to the newly-signed artist to Jonzing Records, there are two crucial aspects of their careers that up-and-coming musicians should take seriously.
When asked in an interview with ENewz for advice on inspiring those who want to succeed, he responded that the first and most crucial step is for them to give God priority.
The “Girlfriend” crooner believes that everything is possible if God is involved, which is why it is so crucial.
Furthermore, according to Ruger, any musician who wishes to stand out must be innovative and have a distinctive sound.
He advised aspiring musicians not to rush into the music scene if they have not discovered their unique sound and style.

He explained that the implication of delving into music without being prepared is that one would just be copying someone else’s sound.
Ruger said that such a person might be lucky to release a hit song, but because it’s not his uniquely created sound, it may not stand the test of time.
