Nigerian music star Paul Okoye, better known by his stage name Rudeboy, has reacted angrily to claims circulating on social media that he assaulted a domestic worker.

The allegation, which first appeared on Wednesday, was posted by an X (formerly Twitter) user identified as Ayomide Agboola. Her claims quickly attracted attention after other users tagged Rudeboy, demanding explanations.
According to the viral thread, Agboola alleged that Rudeboy not only assaulted much younger domestic help but also sent his then-wife and a sister-in-law packing after the matter became known. Screenshots of the posts spread widely before the user abruptly deactivated her account. By then, her photos had already been shared with the singer.
Rudeboy wasted no time in firing back. Taking to his verified X account, he dismissed the allegation and vowed to hold the poster accountable in court. In his words:
“Every necessary means, power, resources and money” would be deployed to track her down.
“I will use you to set an example,” he added, warning that the accuser should “leave X” if she hoped to escape the fallout.
As at press time, neither side has produced verifiable evidence to back up their claims, and no official police complaint or court filing has surfaced.
The development has left fans divided online, with some calling for restraint until facts are confirmed, while others expressed support for Rudeboy’s decision to pursue legal redress.
