Psquare’s Feud Deepens: Peter Okoye Alleges Legal Moves from Twin Brother Rudeboy Over New Release
The rift between Nigerian music duo P-square has intensified as Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr. P, revealed that his twin brother, Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), has resorted to legal action regarding their ongoing dispute over music rights.
The latest fallout centers on Peter’s recent track, ‘Attention,’ which Paul claims infringes on material from his unreleased album, set for release in June 2025.
In response to these claims, Peter took to Instagram to address the accusations and defend himself against what he described as “false” assertions from his brother.
According to Peter, Paul and their older brother Jude have engaged a lawyer to demand that ‘Attention‘ be removed from all music streaming platforms.
Peter didn’t hold back in his post, stating, “Call us names, call us childish; it is fine. I understand, but anyone that says anything false about me and I have evidence, then I have a right to defend myself.”
The feud flared up following the release of ‘Attention,’ which Rudeboy alleges borrows heavily from his own creative work.
In response, Peter asserted that he collaborated with Calypso60Music on the track, emphasizing that Rudeboy’s claims were unfounded.
Peter further shared on social media, “JUST FOR THE RECORD GUYS! JUDE And PAUL written through a Lawyer and are doing everything possibly to take the song down from all Music Platform. But I will fight will the end.”
He also reiterated his commitment to stand by the creation of ‘Attention,’ expressing unwavering confidence in his collaboration with Calypso60Music.
