Paul Okoye and Ivy Ifeoma welcome first child, Imani Ugomma Okoye
Nigerian music star Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy, and his wife Ivy Ifeoma have joyfully announced the birth of their first child, Imani Ugomma Okoye.
On November 1, 2024, Paul shared a touching video on Instagram, introducing their newborn to fans. The heartwarming footage captured the singer’s three older children from his previous marriage to Anita—Nadia, Nathan, and Andre—showering their new sister with affection.
In his post, Paul expressed, “This past month and few days have been the most joyous and overwhelming sweetest ever period of our lives.”

Ivy had spent the final stages of her pregnancy in the United States before giving birth. Earlier in July 2024, Paul surprised her with a brand new Range Rover as a push present, which Ivy proudly showcased on social media, captioning it, “New baby from my baby.” Paul humorously chimed in, noting, “My baby used this baby to push the other baby very well.”
The video also featured Nadia, who was seen adorably kissing her younger sister, and it highlighted Ivy’s happiness as a first-time mother bonding with her stepchildren.
The family of six was shown stepping out together, marking this new chapter in their lives, with the video concluding with the announcement of their baby girl’s name.
Rudeboy’s heartfelt Instagram post has since garnered numerous congratulatory messages from fans, friends, and fellow celebrities.
It’s worth noting that Paul was previously married to Anita for eight years before she filed for divorce in 2021, citing several issues that became a hot topic of discussion.
He later introduced Ivy Ifeoma as his girlfriend in 2022, amidst some controversy, which he addressed by clarifying that there was no overlap between his relationships. “You know me, I always keep things to myself. I’ve kept it to myself that I’ve been single for four years, and I’ve been divorced for a long time,” he stated.
In May 2024, the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony, and they welcomed their baby girl just five months later.
