‘Burna Boy is my favourite singer’ – says Rotimi Amaechi
Former Nigerian Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, revealed that Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, is his favorite Nigerian artist. During an exclusive interview with Arise TV’s program “Arise Exclusive: Life After Public Service,” Amaechi shared his admiration for Burna Boy’s music style.
Amaechi, who served as the Governor of Rivers State from 2007 to 2015 and later as the Minister of Transportation for the Federal Republic of Nigeria from 2015 to 2022, expressed that while he followed other Nigerian artists like Davido, Wizkid, and Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy stood out to him. He particularly mentioned Burna Boy’s track “Big Baller” as one of his favorites.
