Football star, Crisitiano Ronaldo has stated the reason he chose Saudi Club, Al Nassr despite having many offers from Europe.
Speaking at his launch, the 37-year-old stated he is proud to have made this decision and his work in Europe is done.
He noted that he has won everything any player should, and he has promised Al Nassr to make the change their football history deserves.
In his words “I am so proud to make this big decision in my life. In Europe my work is done.
“I won everything and played for the most important clubs in Europe. This is a new challenge.
“Nobody knows this but I had many opportunities in Europe, Brazil, Australia, America, Portugal; many clubs wanted to sign me.
“I gave my word to this club.
“I want to give a different version of this country and football. This is why I took the opportunity.”

Also speaking, Al Nassr’s coach, Rudi Garcia noted that Ronaldo’s incoming is a step in the right direction for the Saudi Arabian League.
“In my life, I have seen that the greatest players like Crisitiano are the simplest to manage, because there’s nothing I can teach him”, the club’s manager said.
“Like I said, we are here to win, nothing else. I want him to enjoy playing with Al Nassr and winning with Al Nassr, just that.”
Ronaldo was unveiled at his new club on Tuesday evening in Mrsool Park Stadium. He is reported to earn $75 million per year, making him the highest paid footballer in history.
