Robert Lewandowski addresses Barcelona future and reveals when he plans to hang up his boots.
Robert Lewandowski has expressed a desire to stay at Barcelona for “many years.”, with the prolific Polish striker showing no sign of slowing down at 34 years of age.
The seasoned forward signed a contract with Camp Nou in the summer of 2022, capping a record-breaking eight-year run with Bundesliga powerhouse Bayern Munich. Lewandowski has a contract with Catalunya that runs until 2026, and after helping Barcelona win La Liga, he is certain he can play at the highest level for a number of more seasons.

Lewandowski has told Barca Magazine of his future plans: “I don’t think about how many years I will be at Barca. I still think I can play a few more years at a high level, but I don’t know how many. I’m sure it won’t be one or two. It will be more. I hope I can stay here for many years. Now I understand the meaning of Mes que un Club.”
In his 31 appearances for Barcelona in all competitions, Lewandowski, who scored 344 goals in 375 games with Bayern, has 25 times struck the back of the net.
Barcelona lost to Manchester United in the elimination play-off stage of the Europa League this season, but they are nine points ahead of Clasico rivals Real Madrid in La Liga and will be back in action on Sunday when they travel to Athletic Club.
